How to Use the “Internal Linking” Feature in AI Blog Writing Tool
Internal Linking is a powerful new feature that helps you automatically insert relevant internal links into your blog, improving SEO and user engagement. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to use it:
Where to Find It: You will find the “Enable Internal Linking” checkbox on Step 2 of the AI Blog Writing Tool – right after you input your blog title and content source.
1. Enable the Feature
- On the Outline page (Step 2), tick the checkbox “Enable Internal Linking.”
- A textbox will appear asking for your Domain URL.
2. Enter Your Domain
- Enter a valid domain (e.g., https://yourdomain.com, yourdomain.com) from which you want AI to refer for blog writing.
- Click the “Fetch relevant links” button.
3. View Relevant Internal Links
- The system will perform a Google search using your blog topic.
- It filters results from the domain you entered.
- The system pulls the first 20 most relevant links. Below the “Fetch relevant links” button, you will see a clickable line: “20 relevant links found.”
- Click this link to open the link list popup.
4. Review and Manage the Link List
Inside the popup: You will see a list of 20 relevant links (title + URL).
You can:
- Edit the title by clicking on it.
- Delete a link if you don’t want to include it.
- Visit a link by clicking the share icon – it opens in a new tab so you can review the content.
5. Add Your Own Links
- Scroll to the bottom and click “Add New”.
- Enter your custom title and URL.
- Click the ✅ tick icon to save your custom link to the list.
6. Finalize Your Link Selection
- Once done, click the X icon (top right of the popup) to close the list.
- Then click “Continue” to proceed.
AI will now write your blog, taking into account:
- The selected outline structure
- The titles and links you have confirmed
Wherever relevant, the tool will insert internal links into your blog content. These appear naturally within sentences and link to the pages you have selected.
When a reader clicks the hyperlink in the blog, it will redirect to the corresponding internal page.
- Use internal links to guide readers to more helpful content on your site.
- Edit titles clearly so AI understands the context better.
- The more contextually relevant the link, the better the SEO and user engagement.
