GW Image Generation New UI

GravityWrite AI Image Generator – New UI

AI Image Generator in GravityWrite have got a feature-rich customization panel, replacing the earlier single-line prompt box. This upgrade empowers users to generate precise, brand-aligned, and platform-specific images - all in just a few guided steps.

The new layout introduces two intuitive tabs:

➡️ General

➡️ Advanced

GENERAL TAB – Quick & Guided Setup

The General tab is your primary space to describe and define what kind of image you want. It includes:

1. Type of Image

Select the image type based on your need or platform (e.g., Instagram post, YouTube thumbnail etc) This selection auto-optimizes the image structure accordingly.

2. Template

  • Based on the chosen image type, GravityWrite will show recommended templates first.

  • Eg: If you select “YouTube Thumbnail”, the template panel auto-loads recommended templates in landscape format.

  • Users can explore additional templates below the recommended ones.

  • A drop down allows filtering templates by Trending, Most Liked, or Recent.

  • You can also find and use the template you need by simply typing it in the search box. Eg: Podcast - Podcast related templates will appear.

You can also switch to the Styles tab to apply creative filters like Cartoon, Anime, and more.

3. Content

  • Label of this text field updates dynamically based on the selected image type. E.g., if “YouTube Thumbnail” is chosen, the label becomes “YouTube Thumbnail Content”
  • You can give comments/instructions in the prompt section - based on this, AI will understand what text should appear, how the image should look, and generate the image accordingly.
  • Users can enter up to 500 characters describing what the image should include.

4. Aspect Ratio

Choose your preferred layout: Square, Portrait, or Landscape.

5. Reset

Use to clear all inputs from the General tab for a fresh start.

6. Upload Reference Images

Upload any visual reference or brand sample to guide the AI during generation.

7. Generate Image

  • Click to generate the image using current inputs.

(OR), You can click the Advanced tab to refine image generation further before clicking the final "Generate Image" button.

ADVANCED TAB – Deeper Personalization

For those wanting extra control over the image output, the Advanced tab offers fine-tuning options:

1. Image Model

Image model will be default set as Model A - as it is best for text and visuals

2. Image Quality

Image quality options are - Basic, Standard and Premium. Based on the selected quality, Credits will be deducted for Image generation.

3. Primary Color

Select your dominant brand or theme color.

4. Secondary & Tertiary Colors

  • Once the primary color is selected, the “Add Secondary Color” button is enabled.

  • After choosing a secondary color, the “Add Tertiary Color” option unlocks.

5. Reset

This Resets clears, only the Advanced tab inputs.

Credits Allocation information - Users see this on clicking the i icon, next to Image model.

6. Generate Image

Finalize your inputs and click to generate the image.

Image Generation & Queue

After clicking Generate Image (from either tab), the images will begin generating below the panel.

  • You can continue generating multiple images - each request enters a queue like, Queue 1 - Generating Image, Queue 2 - Generating Image and so on.

  • Each image is generated asynchronously and listed in real-time.

Generated Images will be in your gallery

Post-Generation Options

All generated images can be seen in the Gallery tab. Clicking on any image opens a popup with the following options:

Each image also displays the Credits consumed for this Image generation.

  • Users can Copy the prompt they have used to generate the image.
  • Image type, Aspect Ratio chosen, Model, Template chosen, Quality & Timestamp of the image generated is displayed next to image
  • Download - Save the image.
  • Remove Bg - Instantly isolate the subject from its background.
  • Regenerate - Retry generation with the same prompt for better results.
  • Remix - Keeps the same image idea but allows changes to template, reference image, aspect ratio, etc. It re-generates with updated inputs while retaining the core concept.

  1. Share on Social Media:

Instantly send your generated image to GravityWrite’s AI Social Media tool. It’s auto-saved in the Media Library, ready to use for creating or scheduling posts - No manual download needed.

  1. Edit Image:

Clicking this button shows two options:

  1. Change Aspect Ratio – Users can pick from multiple aspect ratios (1:1, 2:3, 16:9, 9:16, etc.). After selecting, clicking Expand Image will regenerate the image in the chosen ratio and save it in the user’s gallery.
  2. Edit Image Contents – Clicking this opens the Start Masking tool with two ways to edit:

  • Scribble/Draw & Erase – Users can draw random shapes or scribble over the part they want to change. Clicking Erase removes the marked portion and regenerates the image, which is then saved to the gallery.
  • Text-Based Edit – Without masking, users can type their desired changes in the provided textbox. This enables the Generate button. Clicking it regenerates the image with the described edits, saving it in the gallery.

Output Image After Masking:

  1. Convert Image to Video:

Click “Convert Image to Video” – This opens the video creation screen.

  • Video Prompt Section – Enter a short text prompt describing how you want the image to be animated (e.g., “Panda riding a bike through clouds, umbrella moving gently”). If you’re not sure what to type, tap “Auto Generate” to let the AI automatically create a suitable video prompt for your image.
  • Select Model – Choose from three available options: Google, Seedance Lite, Seedance Pro** **
  • Note: When you select Google, the video duration and quality are automatically managed.
  • Video Duration – Choose the clip length (3s to 12s).
  • Video Quality – Select preferred quality: 480p, 720p, or 1080p.
  • Credit Consumption – The credits used vary based on the selected model, duration, and quality. The app automatically updates and displays credit usage for each combination before generating.
  • Generate Video – Tap the button to start video generation. The process will appear in your Gallery under “Processing.” Once completed, the video will be saved in the Gallery.
  • View & Interact – Tap the video to play it. Standard playback options like volume control, PiP (Picture-in-Picture), maximize, download, and copy prompt are available. You can also view credits used for video generation directly here.
